If you are heading back from Rajasthan to Delhi NCR, a good place to break the journey is Park Inn by Radisson at Bilaspur, Gurgaon. This modfern hotel is right off National Highway 8 and a few kilometers ahead of Manesar. Though mostly frequented by the business travellers and executives from this industrial town, RBG Bar & Grill, the hotel’s only dining facility, offers decent ambiance and food.
Colourfully decorated predominantly in turquoise, red and black, the restaurant shows wear and tear.I particularly liked the Turkish style floor tiles. The bar and the dining area are clearly demarcated and the dining area is more spacious as it should be.
The menu offers a little bit of everything. We settled for the North Indian fare – Choornai Bindi, Kadai Chicken and few Tandoori Rotis.
The Choorani Bhindi was a delight – whole okra coated in think tangy masala – which I really savoured.
The Kadai Chicken was thankfully boneless. The creamy gravy had the right amount of spices, capsicum, coriander and onion and the dish had silky gravy with juicy well cooked chicken with crunchy vegetables. Garnished with juliennes of ginger and green coriander leaves.
The service is efficient and non intrusive and its is 4/5 for this one.
